For Pride Month 2023, I’m sharing some of the fabulous books and authors I’ve discovered featuring LGBTQ or LGBTQ-friendly characters or written by LGBTQ or LGBTQ-friendly authors.
I've been subscribing to the Book of the Month for a while now and have recently picked up Yerba Buena, a novel by Nina Lacour. I'll be honest, of all the books I'm highlighting this month, this is the only one I haven't yet read. I'm only a chapter or two in it, but the writing, so far, is beautiful.
When Sara Foster runs away from home at sixteen, she leaves behind not only the losses that have shattered her world but the girl she once was, capable of trust and intimacy.
